Larry Gene Skipper Sr., age 64

Larry Gene Skipper Sr., age 64, of Cliffside, NC, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 11, 2016.

He was the son of the late Reverend Horace Skipper and the late Audrey Marlowe Skipper. Larry was a member of Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church, Forest City and U S Army Veteran of The Vietnam War. He was an over the road truck driver for many years. He was preceded in death by his brother Horace Skipper Jr. and and his sister Linda Skipper Simeon.

He is survived by his wife: Debbie M. Skipper. One Son: Larry "Skip" Skipper, Jr., of Cliffside, NC. One Brother: Roger Skipper and his wife Martha of Spartanburg, SC. Two Grandchildren.

Funeral service was held at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend J C Thomas and Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. Interment held at Cliffside Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Gurard.
