Larry Smith, age 60, of Forest City, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012.
Larry was born on March 25, 1952 in Choctaw County, Alabama to the late Frederick Smith and Nettie Blank Smith. He enjoyed his grandchildren and was a faithful caretaker for his wife.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Maude Smith; three sons, Doug Henderson, Larry Smith, Jr. and James Parizon; three daughters, Renee Benson, Nettie Parizon and Nicole Parizon; two brothers, Donald Ray Smith and Wilbur Smith; three sisters, Onas Cato, Lillie Ruffin and Jessie Blank. He is also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild, six nieces and seven nephews.
Funeral services were conducted the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating.
