LaVerne McCrary, 73

LaVerne McCrary, 73, of Forest City, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015. Born July 10, 1942 in Jackson County, GA, LaVerne was the daughter of the late Smith and Catherine Bridges. She was a retired bookkeeper and a longtime resident of the Forest City-Rutherfordton community.

As a loving mother, LaVerne is survived by her two sons, Alan Rudolph Parton and Anthony Verno Parton and sisters, Carol Richardson and Jeanene Pass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Bridges.

Funeral services were held at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Pierce Ashmore officiating. Interment was held at Jackson Memorial Park in Commerce, GA
