Learning road and home safety

The Community Engagement Team’s Youth Council hosted a Safe Roads Safe Homes March 26 at McNair Field. During the event students were given the opportunity to drive a DWI Simulation Course and to check out the BATMobile (Breath Alcohol Testing) unit. Officers from Forest City Police Department helped with the event, and students who drove the course could register to win free Taco Bell gift cards. Safe Kids of Rutherford County was on hand to do free car seat safety checks.
