Leash on Life Graduation

The latest Leash on Life graduation ceremony was held Wednesday, August 21 at the Spindale House. The program is a collaboration between the Community Pet Center and the Rutherford County Correctional Center in Spindale. The dogs live at the correctional center for eight weeks being cared for and trained in basic manners by eight inmate trainers. After the training the dogs go through graduation and are available for adoption. Dogs graduating last week were Baxter, Pebbles, Suzy and Tanner.
