Leo Richard Kimball, Sr., 69, of Bostic, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010. Services were held at Fellowship Holiness Church.
Mr. Kimball was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Warren and Lucianne Trumbley Kimball and two brothers, Frank Warren Kimball Jr. and Roger Kimball.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline McAbee Kimball of the home; three sons, Matthew Christopher Kimball of Bostic, Leo Richard Kimball, Jr. and wife Renee of Forest City, Corey Kimball of Forest City; three daughters, Cara Marie Kimball of Spindale, Ginger Phillips of Forest City and April Downs and husband Rodney of Lebanon, Maine; one stepson, Shannon Cooksey; one step-daughter, Jennifer McAbee of Green Hill; two brothers, Roland Kimball of Gonic, NY and Donald Kimball of Summersworth, NY; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kimball Memorial Fund, PO Box 584, Bostic, NC 28018.
Crowe’s Funeral Home & Crematory, Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
