Lillian Faye Tomblin, age 91

Lillian Faye Tomblin, age 91, of Forest City, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Allen and Carrie Harris Tomblin and widow of the late William Logan Tomblin. She retired from Broyhill Furniture, was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and was a graduate of R S Central High School, class of 1943.

Survivors include her son, Anthony Gil Tomblin of Mt. Pleasant, daughter, Desiree Tomblin Harris of Forest City, five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at the Mountain Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Honeycutt and Rev. Charles McClure officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
