Lillie Mae Allison Jackson, 90, of Mooresboro, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014. 

A native of Cleveland County, she was born on April 15, 1924, a daughter of the late Dexter Frazier Allison & Evie Potter Allison. She was a homemaker & member of Camps Creek Baptist Church where she was a GA’s (Girls in Action) & Acteens Leader. Lillie Mae was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother to her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Forest Glenn Jackson, Sr.. She is survived by her son, Forest Glenn Jackson, Jr., & fiancee Melissa Hunsinger of Mooresboro; 1 daughter, Glenda Brackett & husband Curtis of Mooresboro; 2 grandchildren, Justin Brackett & Emily Jackson.

Funeral services were held at Camps Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Morehead, Rev. Steve Durham, Rev. Dale Welch & Justin Brackett officiating. Burial followed at Cleveland Memorial Park. 

Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.

McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral & Cremation Service is serving the Jackson family.
