Linda Sisk Walker, age 63

Linda Sisk Walker, age 63, of Forest City, NC, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012. 

Linda was born May 30, 1949 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Lee Sisk and Fannie Connor Sisk.  She worked in textiles for many years and as a supervisor for Henderson Care.  She was also a member of Fellowship Holiness Church in Spindale.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard Walker; one brother, Carl Sisk and sister, Edith Toney.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of almost 42 years, Jerry Walker; two daughters, Melinda Brown and husband, Jimmy of Union Mills and Tammy Johnson and husband, Dustin of Forest City; one son, Scottie Walker of Marion, NC; four brothers, J.C. Sisk, Herman Sisk and wife, Sonja, Harvey Sisk and Jerry Sisk all of Forest City; one sister, Margaret Lovelace also of Forest City.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Leon Brown and Reverend Lanny J. Funchess officiating.  Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice.
