Linda Southern Harris, age 66

Linda Southern Harris, age 66, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014.

Born December 27, 1947 in Alexandria, Virginia, she was a daughter to the late Joseph M. Jamison and Katheryne E. Barrack Jamison.  Linda worked for the US Postal Service for several years and as a waitress. She most recently was employed by White Oak Manor as a housekeeper.  Linda enjoyed craftwork, exploring new recipes while cooking and bird watching.  She also enjoyed listening to a variety of Christian speakers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Joseph Lichaa.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Harris; son Randy Lichaa of Union Mills; two sisters, Deborah Brinkman of Ormond Beach, Florida and Sherry Farmer of Hamilton, Ohio; three brothers, Donald Jamison of Middletown, Ohio, Denis Jamison of Brandy Wine, Maryland and Mike Jamison of Greensboro, Maryland.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, Allyssa Dawn Kemp, Randi Danielle Lichaa, Tyler Laugherty, Taylor Lichaa and two great grandchildren, Aliyah Dixon and RyMarr Rideout.

Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Chad Sisk and Reverend Buddy Campbell officiating.
