Do you play Scrabble?

Recently I got an email from a friend who enjoys Scrabble, giving me some examples of how you can rearrange the letters of certain words to form other words.  For instance, when you rearrange the letters of “dormitory,” you get “dirty room.”  And when you rearrange the letters of “the Morse code,” you get “here come dots.”  Pretty cool, eh?

And the word, “desperation” becomes “a rope ends it” when you change the lettering around.  Did you know “animosity” rearranges into “is no amity?” And “snooze alarms” becomes “Alas! No more Z’s.”  “A decimal point” rearranges into “I’m a dot in place.”  “Eleven plus two” changes into “twelve plus one.”  “Mother-in-law” scrambles into “woman Hitler.”  And “slot machines” scrambled around is “cash lost in me.”

Life gets rearranged a lot, doesn’t it?  Well, no matter how you spell it, “positive” can’t spell “negative” even when you’re rearranged, so listen to life today and make a positive life.
