Lois Hollifield Goforth, age 76

Lois Hollifield Goforth, age 76, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017.

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Charlie Ausbury Hollifield and the late Ethel Thompson Hollifield. Lois loved to meet people, loved to color and was an avid animal lover. She was preceded in death by her husband J.P. Goforth, two brothers; Robert Hollifield and

Paul Lee and one sister Edna Roberson.

She is survived by: One Son: Scott Goforth and Angie Atkins. Brothers in law: Vaughn Goforth and wife Cynthia Hicks Goforth and wife Betty. Sister in law: Marilyn Goforth. Three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jack Bridges officiating. Interment was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
