Lorena Richards Fowler, age 75

Lorena Richards Fowler, age 75, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Helen Huntley Richards and a native of Rutherford County. She was the widow of the late Roy Lee Fowler Jr. and was preceded in death by a brother Michael Richards. Lorena was a Charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Joy Fowler Smith and her husband Derek; one son: Jeff L. Fowler and his wife Denise; one brother: David Richards and four grandchildren

The Memorial service was held at Fellowship Baptist Church with Reverend Tom Runion officiating. Interment of the urn will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church; 210 Silvers Lake Rd., Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
