Louise Searcy Lane, age 91

Louise Searcy Lane, age 91, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Briscoe Searcy and the late Emma Arrowood Searcy. Louise was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was well known as "the cake lady". In addition to her parents Louise was preceded in death by her sisters; Agnes Brooks and Nora Mae Laughter, and her brothers; Hubert Searcy, Herman Searcy, Harold Searcy, and Hicks Searcy. She is survived by: One Daughter: Diane Haynes and her husband Doug. Sister-in-laws: Glenda Searcy and Ruth Searcy. One Grandchild and One Great-Grandchild Louise is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Interment followed.
