Lounette Sparks Price, 84, of Sumner Road, Cliffside, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011. Services were held at Race Path Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Edgar Price; her parents, Benjamin Harrison and Merttie Watts Sparks; her siblings, Ruby Sparks Moss; Etta Sparks Elmore; Ella Sparks Lail; Carl Sparks; J.C. Sparks; Verlon Sparks; Lester Sparks and John Sparks.
She is survived by one son, Reid Price of Cliffside; one daughter, Shirley Houser and husband Larry of Cliffside; one sister, Sue Sparks Cabiness of Shelby; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
