Lucy Mae Hopper Johnson, age 90, of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018.

Lucy was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Southern Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Clater Guffey and the late Cora Willis Guffey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Charles William Hopper and her second husband Graham Louis Johnson, one daughter Karen Hopper; two stepsons, Randy Johnson and Perry Johnson; two brothers, C.B. Guffey and Jack Guffey.

She is also survived by One Daughter: Teresa H. Flack and her husband Mike of High Point. One Son: Charlie Hopper and his wife Lhen of Rutherfordton. One Stepson: Richard Johnson and his wife Nona of Rutherfordton. One Sister: Linda Bryson of Boiling Springs, NC. Nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service was held at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment of the urn was at Southern Baptist Church Cemetery.
