Lynda Coleman Womack, age 87, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, December 25,

She was born October 20, 1931 in New Albany, Mississippi to the late Walter & Hazel Gardner Coleman. She was the widow of the late James Otho Womack. Lynda was a member of Chesnee United Methodist Church, Chesnee, S.C. She retired from Spartanburg School District 7. She was preceded in death by one brother Joseph Edwin Coleman.

She is survived by One Son: Jeffrey K. Womack and his wife Alma of Corpus Christi, TX. Sisters-in-laws: Marjorie Womack and Frances Yelton. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.

The Graveside service was held at Gilboa United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Interment followed.
