Lynn Andrew Williams age 87

Senior Chief Boilermaker (Retired) Lynn Andrew Williams age 87 of Forest City, NC passed away Friday September 6, 2013. 

Born in Memphis, TN to the late Lynn Elmer Williams and Ida Clayton Williams he was retired from the U.S. Navy with 28 years of service.

Left to cherish his memory are his children – Robert & Claudia Williams of Aurora, CO; Lynwood & Patty Williams of Woodbury, NJ; Patricia & Chuck Engel of Topeka, KS; Teresa Murphy of Spartanburg, SC; Diane & Mark Ilderton of Acworth, GA; David and Lisa Williams of New Castle, DE; Ernest & Kris Williams of Spartanburg, SC; siblings- Ernest Richard & Melda Williams of Rockford, IL Peggy Rinks of Rector, AR; Charles  & Candy Williams of Reel Foot, TN; Juanita & Earl Franks Rockford, IL. 19 Grand Children and 32 Great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Williams, one son Daniel Williams, one great grandchild, and siblings Lewis Williams, Haskell Williams, Mary Barnette and Shirley Burdin.

A celebration of life was held at Glenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Toney, Rev. Keith Stephenson and Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with full military honors.
