Best-selling children's book author and illustrator Kelly Light, who is best known for her book "Louise Loves Art," visited classes at both Lake Lure Classical Academy and Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy. At LLCA, Light visited kindergarten through second grade classes. She also spoke to art classes at TJCA, sharing her background and career in animation and merchandising art. "Even if you don't continue to make art for a living, do it for your life," Light told students.
