Margaret Anne Freeman Norris, age 79

Margaret Anne Freeman Norris, age 79, of Bostic, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late George Deck Freeman and the late Nannie Pearl Clements Freeman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother George Ray Freeman.

Margaret was a lifelong member of Brittain Presbyterian Church. She attended Mount Vernon Elementary and High School. Margaret was a graduate of Berea College in Kentucky. She worked as a Social Worker in Caldwell, Catawba and Rutherford Counties.

She is survived by her husband: Edward Norris. One daughter: Nancy Norris of Morganton. Sister-in-law: Mrs Jane Freeman and her sons Thomas Ray Freeman and Phillip Deck Freeman of Rutherfordton. Sister-in-laws: Mary Alice Byrd and husband Bennett of Zionville, NC. Patsy Lou Allred and husband Ronnie of Lexington, NC. Brother-in-law: Carl Norris and wife Mary of Zionville, NC.

The Funeral service was held at Brittain Presbyterian Church with Reverend Ted Grant and Reverend George Hutchins officiating. Interment was held at Brittain Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
