Margaret Jane Ferguson, age 72

Margaret Jane Ferguson, age 72, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Roby Brackett and Beatrice Beck Brackett. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Horace Phillip Brackett. Margaret worked for more that 20 years at Cone Mills before moving on to a role as a medical technician in home health care. Margaret was a former Sunday school teacher and faithful member of Wilson Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her son Donald Hugh Whitener of Forest City, two daughters, Jane Ferguson Weast and husband Robbie of Rutherfordton, Pamela Ferguson Saine and husband Jamie of Mooresboro, a sister Roberta Bridges of Cliffside and a brother Johnny Brackett of Forest City. There are also seven grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

A funeral service was held in the Wilson Baptist Church.
