Margaret "Margy" Varney, age 66

Margaret "Margy" Varney, age 66, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Born July 29, 1951 in Nicholas County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Russell E. Brown and Mona Nutter Brown. She attended Wellington High School and was a homemaker. She was loved dearly by her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of thirty-eight years, Phillip Varney; three sons, Jim Varney of West Salem, Ohio, Jason Varney and wife, Heather of Rutherfordton and Jeremy Varney also of Rutherfordton; one sister, Kitty Brown of Sandusky, Ohio; two brothers, Russell Brown and Richard Brown and wife, Jan all of Wellington, Ohio. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Rev Ernie Cole officiated. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
