Margie Edwards Horne, 95

Margie Edwards Horne, 95, of Spindale went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 19, 2016.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Katie West Edwards. She was a homemaker and lifetime member of Spindale Church of the Brethren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Francis Horne; sons Ricky Horne and Jack Edwards; daughter, Gloria Horne Stewart; one grandson, and one sister, Katie Edwards Greene.

Surviving is one daughter, Corless Goode and husband Michael; also daughters-in-law, Carol Horne and Gloria Edwards; twelve grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren; three nieces and four nephews.

Funeral services were held at Spindale Church of the Brethren with Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Interment followed at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
