Marilyn Hazel Meeks, 59

Marilyn Hazel Meeks, 59, passed away February, 6th 2013. 

She was born Nov. 8, 1953, in Rutherford County, daughter of the late Norris and Sallie Francis Meeks. She is survived by three daughters Shannon (Buster) Benton, Felita (Dana) Murray, Lesley (Tyrone) Brown; two sons Leroy (Teresa) Meeks, Andra Meeks; two sisters Janice Meeks, Peggy (Jerry) Neely; three brothers Weldon Meeks, Leslie (Rose) Meeks, Robert (Judy) Meeks; 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by Norma Frances Spruill. 

Funeral services were held at New Bethel A.M.E Zion in Forest City, NC. Burial followed at Union Hill A.M.E Zion in Union Mills, NC.
