Martha Jo Street Hamrick, of Duncan, SC, age 72

Martha Jo Street Hamrick, of Duncan, SC, age 72, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016.

Born August 09, 1943 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Geneva Quinton Street and she was the wife of James "Jimmy" Alfred Wardell. Martha was a loving mother, wife, nana, sister and friend to many. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and was previously married to Pete Hamrick. She loved life and was a joy to many.

Survivors also include two sons, Grant Hamrick (Linda) of Inman and Brian Hamrick (Jill) of Greer; a daughter, Tammy Wallace (Mathew) of Taylors; two sisters, Joyce Mitchem and Nancy White; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Howard, Alvin and Marshall Street.

Services were held at at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Robert Whaley officiating. Interment held at Wood Memorial Park.
