Mary Ann Quinn, age 69

Mary Ann Quinn, age 69, of Caroleen, NC, passed away Mon. Aug. 6, 2012. 

Mary Ann was born February 14, 1943 in Buncombe County, NC to the late Herbert McKnight and Mary Hutchins McKnight. She worked as a LPN for Rutherford Hospital for over 40 years and was a member of Caroleen Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, sewing, reading and spending time with her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny B. Quinn. Survivors include three daughters, Amy Quinn Vargas and husband, Sergio of Gaffney, Rhonda Quinn of Henrietta and Kathy Frasier and husband, Eric of Forest City; one son, Johnny Quinn and fiancé, Angie Bostic of Marlington, WV; one brother, Jimmy McKnight and wife, Vicki of Swannanoa, NC; two sisters, Carolyn McCall and husband, Larry of Raytown, MO and Shirley Stiles and husband, John of Concord. 

She is also survived by eight grandchildren, special friend, J.C. Wilson of Rutherfordton and a number of sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were conducted at Caroleen Baptist Church with Reverend Karen Taylor and Reverend Allen Hall officiating. Interment will be a private occasion.
