Mary Elizabeth “Lib” Hardin, 67, of White Oak Manor, Rutherfordton, NC passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Services were held at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in the Welcome Home Baptist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Hardin was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Hardin; her parents, Paul and Betty Jane Ray.
She is survived by 5 daughters, Debbie Avery of Union Mills, Sherri Burgess of Union Mills; Terri Fender of Rutherfordton; Mary Keeter of Sunshine and Dianne Morrow of Rutherfordton; a sister, Pauline Allen of Forest City; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.
