Mary Grehawick Emery, age 95, of Rutherfordton, NC and formerly of Sarasota, FL passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011.
No formal services are planned at this time.
Mary was born to the late Peter Grehawick and Rosalie Zuk Grehawick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles Mifflin Emery; one son, Glenn Ralph Emery; grandson, Dennis C.R. Hulse and ten brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Carolee Emery Rooney of Rutherfordton, Janice Emery Drever and husband, Maxwell of Tiburon, CA, Michele Emery Weissinger and husband, Brian of Palmetto, FL.
She is also survived by a daughter in-law, Suzan Hall Emery, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Rutherford County, POB 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
