Maurice Eugene Fowler, 59

Maurice Eugene Fowler, 59 of the Green Hill Community passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012. 

He was born September 4, 1953 in Rutherford County to the late Charles and Ethel Fowler. He worked as a Regional Sales Manager for All American Homes for many years and at the time of his death he was employed by Mod-U-Kraf Homes, the sister company located in Rocky Mount, Virginia. He was a life long member of Green Hill Baptist Church where he served in many capacities.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Douglas. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of thirty nine years, Sherry Walker Fowler; three daughters; Jennifer Jackson and spouse, Shane; Amy Summers and spouse Chad; Heather Sheehan and spouse, Phillip. Also, five grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at Green Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. John Baker and Rev. Terry Brooks officiating. Burial followed in the Green Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Green Hill Baptist Church, 2241 US 64/74A HWY, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
