McCranie honored during Junior Shrine Bowl

Reagan McCranie of the Rutherfordton Raiders, representing Chase High School, recently participated in the Junior Shrine Bowl. During it, he was presented with the Star Award for demonstrating a star performance on and off the field.

Along with this honor he was picked as one of the Captains for the bowl game as well as being named as Offensive MVP for the North Carolina Team.

He started as left tackle on offense, played defensive tackle and was one of the kickers for special teams.

The North Carolina team beat the South Carolina team 33 to 6 in the Junior Shrine Bowl.

McCranie is the son of Jeff and Kim McCranie of Shiloh.
