Michael Dean "Mike" Whiteside, age 60

Michael Dean "Mike" Whiteside, age 60, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019.

He was the son of the late Max Whiteside and and a native of Rutherford County. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mike worked with his brothers in the family business; Whiteside Logging. He loved fishing and his dogs especially "Lucy" who stayed by his side.

Mike was preceded in death by two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife: Becky Elliott Whiteside. One Daughter: Tiffany Fish and her husband Chad. His mother: Sybil Whiteside, One Sister: Susie Whiteside Wall and her husband James. Five Brothers: Steve Whiteside and his wife Tami, Randy Whiteside and his wife Debbie, Joey Whiteside, Tim Whiteside and his wife Rita, Scott Whiteside and his wife Heather. One grandchild and a number of special nieces and nephews.

The Funeral service was held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery.
