Michael "Mickey" Glover, age 65

Michael "Mickey" Glover, age 65, of Bostic, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019.

Michael was born September 11, 1953 in Cleveland County, and was the son of the late Oliver Glover and Mattie Lee Walker Glover. He was a truck driver for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. Mickey was known for his sense of humor and his love for fishing, motorcycles and bluegrass music. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy McCombs, Wanda Kay Towery and sister-in-law, Louise Glover.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of twenty-five years, Frances Bradley Glover; two sons, Travis Glover (Candas) of Chesnee, SC and Shane Glover (Scarlet) of Lenoir, NC; three daughters, Bambi Austin (Chris) of Lenoir, Janet Beheler (Dale) of Ellenboro and Shelly Alley (Mike Greene) of Bostic; two brothers, Russel Glover of Casar and Jackie Glover (Jane) of Polkville and brother-in-law, Fred Towery of Casar. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
