Michael Wilkerson, age 60, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017.

He was the son of Leonard and Lois Wilkerson. He is also survived by his wife: Maureen Fitzgerald-Wilkerson. One stepdaughter: Suzanne Sanders. One sister: Melinda Wilkerson. One brother: Brian M. Wilkerson. Three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County at POB 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
