Mike Stofer, age 69

Mike Stofer, age 69, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018.

He was the son of the late James Earl Stofer and the late Mattie Lou Haynes Stofer and a native of Rutherford County. Mike was a loving father and grandfather; he loved spending time with his family. He loved riding motocycles, camping and doing anything outdoors. He was a U S Army veteran of Vietnam War.

He is survived by: Two Daughters: Tracey Stofer and her companion Chris Butler. Crystal Lou Stofer and her life long companion Jerry Wayne Culbertson. One Son: John Allen Stofer and his fiancee Dawn Deck. One Brother: Johnny Stofer and his wife Pat and 11 grandchildren.

The Funeral service was held at Piney Knob Baptist Church. Military honors were presented by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrier Project; PO Box 758517; Topeka Kansas, 66675.
