Mildred Guffey Morrow, age 92

Mildred Guffey Morrow, age 92, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, March 29,

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Rev. John Jasper Guffey and the late Elsie Edwards Guffey. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was a 1941 graduate of R.S. Central High School and a retired LPN from Rutherford Internal Medicine Associates. She loved to garden, do crossword puzzles and watch baseball and basketball but above all she was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her

husband Clarence E. Morrow, eight brothers and one sister.

She is survived by five daughters: Ernestine "Erni" Lewis, Kathy Jenkins and husband Mike, Jayne Bunn and husband Phil, Ann Womick and husband Scott, Robin Womick. Seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Bethany Baptist Church with Revs. Chris Fox and Bryan Guffey officiating. Interment followed.
