Minnie N. Doggett, 85 of Rutherfordton passed away on April 30, 2018.

She was a native of Rutherford County, daughter of the late Drury Edgar and Velma Jaynes Nanney. Minnie was the widow of the late Bill Hugh Doggett and member of Spencer Baptist Church in Spindale. She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother; Lucille N. Parton, Myrtle N. Silvers, Ruby N. Daniel, Clara N. Fagan and Robert E. Nanney. Minnie is survived by one son Mark T. Doggett, one sister Bertha "Bub" Nanney Hill, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at Spencer Baptist Church. Dr. Bruce Caldwell officiated and burial was private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Spencer Baptist Church, 187 North Oak Street, Spindale, NC 28160.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
