Miss Ann Stewart Coffield, of Rutherford County, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011. A Memorial Service was held at Hopewell United Methodist Church, Hollis Rd., Ellenboro, NC.
Miss Coffield was preceded in death by her parents, W.E. and Hattie Greene Stewart; 1 sister, Hattie Green Stewart; and 1 brother, W.E. “Gene” Stewart, Jr.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Harriett Stewart; 2 sons, Orus Reid Coffield III of Columbia, MO, and William “Bill” Coffield of Boiling Springs, SC; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hopewell Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Neil Danner, 297 Poole Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040; or to the charity of one’s choice.
Crowe’s Mortuary & Crematory, Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
