Miss Brittany D. Nanney, age 27

Miss Brittany D. Nanney, age 27, of Union Mills, went home to be with The Lord on Wednesday, April 22, 2015.

Born in Fulton County, Georgia, she is a daughter of Stacey Jane Nanney Moulin of Chico, CA; granddaughter of Jack & Barbara Nanney of Union Mills, NC; niece of Merri Nanney, Jackie Wallace and Kaye McKinney all of Union Mills, NC and Natalie Archer of Sharpsburg, GA; also surviving are her sisters Melissa Beatty, Kayla Beatty and Savannah Moulin all of Chico, CA; step brothers Shane and Sean Moulin of Chico, Ca. as well as three nephews; Bradon, Landon and Jack as well as a number of cousins and other relatives.

Brittany was a kind and loving soul who touched many lives during her brief time here on earth while always showing strength and determination during the many trying times of her long illness.

A celebration of Brittany's life was held at Round Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Koone, Dr. Wayne Blackwood and Rev. John Bridges officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
