Modene M. Walker, age 89

Modene M. Walker, age 89, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, December 24,

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late William Cyrus Morrow and the late Docia Jane Robbins Morrow. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and preceded in death by her husband Reverend Carl P. Walker and one son Terry Walker.

She is survived by one son: Ricky Walker and wife Emma of Rutherfordton, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, Daughter in Law: Diane Tetrick, Honorary Grandson.

The funeral service was held at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin Allen, Rev. Michael Sepaugh and Rev. Ad Hopper officiating. Interment held at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church; 1850 Poors Ford Rd. Rutherfordton, NC 28139 or to The Lottie Moon Christmas Fund at the church of your choice.
