Mozelle Pardue Thomas, age 95, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015.

She was born July 22, 1919 in Cleveland, Georgia and was a daughter of the late Relias R. and Ada Nix Pardue. Mozelle was a homemaker and of the Protestant Faith. She attended Hall County, Georgia Schools and moved from Gainesville, Georgia to Charlotte in 1960. In 2004 she moved to Rutherford County and was a resident of Henderson Retirement Village in Forest City. Mozelle was a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was the youngest of ten siblings that consisted of five brothers and four sisters who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband of thirty-six years, James C. Thomas and her second husband, Paul M. Aiken.

Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Thomas Wolf and husband Robert of Forest City, two grandchildren, Stacy S. Wolf of Winston-Salem and Whitney E. Wolf of Hillsborough, NC. She also is survived by a number of nieces and nephews as well as a dear and close friend, Lois Graybeal of Forest City.

Funeral services were held in The Padgett and King Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Phillip W. Dunford officiating. Interment followed at Crown Memorial Park, 9620 Rodney Street, Pineville, NC.

The family respectfully request that memorials be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, Post Office Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
