Mr. Donald J. Ayers, 60, of 289 of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011. A celebration of Donald’s life will be held at a later date in New York.
Mr. Ayers was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Rose Paolantonio; and his parents, Edwin Ayers and Elizabeth Weber Ayers.
He is survived by two brothers-in-law, Perry R. Paolantonio and wife, Paula of Brattleboro, VT and Danny Paolantonio and wife, Susan of Lynbrook, LI, NY; four nephews; one great-nephew and a great-niece.
Harrelson Funeral Home is serving the family.
