Mr. Ernest Lee Sims, Sr., 63

Mr. Ernest Lee Sims, Sr., 63, passed away on December 22, 2015.

A native of Rutherford County, he is predeceased by his parents, Jonas and Dorothy Sims and a brother, Douglas W. Sims, all of Rutherfordton.

He is survived by a sister, Bobbie Atchley of Shingle Hollow; three children, Ernest Lee Sims, Jr., Amanda Sims Mckinney and Jennifer Sims Tomblin all of Rutherfordton; four grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. Donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
