Mr. Ernest P. Green, 67, of Lattimore, NC passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Internment followed in the Morrow family cemetery.
Mr. Green served our country in the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Green and his parents, Albert Golden Green and Inez Smith Green.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Roseann Atkins Green; one daughter, Lisa Bumgarner of Lattimore; two sons, James Green and wife, Robin of Rutherfordton and Matthew Green and wife, Cheryl of Grover, NC; three sisters, Peggy Ballard of Forest City, Joan Bennett of Caroleen and Patricia Davis of Stanley, NC; two brothers, Jerry Green of Forest City and Leon Green of Ellenboro; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park, Building 1, Asheville, NC.
Harrelson Funeral Home, Caroleen, NC is serving the family.
