Mr. Francis “F.P.” Preston Moore, 71, of Ellenboro, NC, went home to Jesus on Sunday, August 15, 2010. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Moore and Bertie Lee Wilson Moore; and 1 brother, Wesley Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara H. Moore; 2 sons, Tommy P. Moore of Forest City and Timothy L. Moore of Ellenboro; 1 daughter, Tanya L. Hensley and husband Johnny of Forest City; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Darrell Moore and wife Kitty and Steve Moore and wife Barbara, all of Forest City; 2 sisters, Hazel Burgess and husband Bynum of Spartanburg, SC and June Chapman and husband Jack of Forest City; and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church, 1938 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043.
