Mr. Gene Vickers age 61 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 9, 2015.
A native of Rutherford County NC Gene was an employee of Sanitary Plumbing, Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents Jonas and Maude Hodge Vickers as well as four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife Glenda Campbell Vickers, one son Dewayne Vickers, one sister Mae Vickers Thompson, two grandchildren as well as number of other relatives and friends.
He will be greatly missed by his family who he loved with all his heart. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
