Mr. Grover Franklin Greene, 74, of Roebuck, SC formerly of Rutherford County, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011. A memorial service was held at Crowe’s Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Greene served our country in the US Air Force.
Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his wife Amelia Jane Padgett Greene and his parents, Earl and Carrie Cleo Guffey Greene.
He is survived by one son, Frankie Greene of Roebuck SC; a daughter, Charlene Camby of Spindale; brothers, Johnny Greene of Bostic and Jerry Greene of Wisdconsin; sisters, Judy Street of Rutherfordton; Marie Pope, Helen Matheny, Shirley Bradley and Doris Gowan of Forest City and Daisy Greene of Caroleen; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Mountain View Nursing Home Eden Fund, 340 Cedar Spring Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
Crowe’s Mortuary of Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
