Mr. Herman Horace Shields, 74, of Big Island Road, Forest City, NC passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010. Services were held at Crowe’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Shields was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Ola Lee Shields.
He is survived by wife, Juanita Fortune Shields of the home; 1 daughter, Judy Morrow of Forest City; 1 granddaughter; 1 brother, Wayne Shields of Polk County; and 5 sisters, Juanita Oliver, Dorothy Morgan, and Esther Atkins, all of Rutherfordton, Ethel Godrey of Forest City, and Brenda Joines of Polk County.
Crowe’s Mortuary, Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
