Mr. James Grady Cole, 81, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010. Services were held at Kistler’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
Mr. Cole served our country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Grady Cole and Alma Lucinda Owens Cole; and 2 brothers, Rev. John Wesley Cole and Heber Cole.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Guffey Cole of the home; 2 daughters, Stephanie Summers and husband Mike, and Beverly Ballinger and husband John, all of Rutherfordton, NC; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
