Mr. Jim Pyle, 79 and Mrs. Madeline Pyle, 77

Mr. Jim Pyle, 79 and Mrs. Madeline Pyle, 77, of Rutherfordton, NC, went to meet Jesus hand in hand  Tuesday, August 24, 2010. A Memorial Service was held at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church. 

Mr. Pyle was preceded in death by his parents, James Beatty and Naomi Shaffer Pyle; and Mrs. Pyle was preceded by her parents, Fred and Nellie Day Shook.

They are survived by their children, Chyrrl McCulley of Orlando, FL, Janet Edwards of Winter Springs, FL, Linda Pyle-Austin of Rutherfordton, and James Beatty Pyle III of Salisbury, NC; 9 grandchildren; Jim’s sister, Jeanette May of Orlando, FL; and Madeline’s sisters and brothers, Lorraine Warner, Oma Barb, Wynona Trexler, Errol Shook, Fred Shook, Jr. and Shannon Shook.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church Youth Ministry.
