Mr. John Herman Roach, Jr., 72, of Forest City, NC, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Park with Military Honors accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
Mr. Roach served our country in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Herman Roach, Sr. and Lois Horne Roach; and an infant daughter, Teresa Ann Roach.
He is survived by his fiancé, Sandra Arrowood of Forest City; 1 son, John David Roach and wife Marie of Forest City; 1 daughter, Patricia Ann McFarland and husband Patrick of Asheville; 1 brother, Steve Roach and wife Candy of Florence, SC; 1 sister, Irene Delpino of Henrietta; 9 grandchildren; 1 step-son, Tracy Arrowood of Henrietta; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 nephews.
Harrelson Funeral Home, Caroleen, NC is serving the family.
